For BDO Castillo Miranda take care or the environment in which our professionals operate is paramount, both inside and outside our office, as well as the care of their well-being. To this end, we maintain a series of programs and initiatives to support our employees.

Balance between professional and personal life.

At BDO Castillo Miranda, we are aware that our achievements not only benefit the well-being and the mood of our employees, but also the productivity and growth of our firm and to achieve this balance, we maintain the following actions:

Health Week

In order to assist in the health care of all our employees at BDO Castillo Miranda and for five days we provide the opportunity for our colleagues to have the presence of different specialists in the health sector who share us information on health issues and prevention.

University Colloquiums

Learning is an important element BDO Castillo Miranda, because it is the way to contribute to the development of better professionals and individuals.

That is why, in partnership with some institutions of the education sector, we have designed courses that are taught to young students of the bachelor's degree in accounting and administration (mainly) with the objective of providing them with training on subjects related to their career, from the points of view Technical and practical, covering the procedures and activities of the various areas of the firm.

United Nations Global Pact

The Global Pact is an international initiative that promotes the implementation of 10 Universally Accepted Principles to promote Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the areas of Human Rights and Business, Labor Standards, The Environment and Fight against Corruption in Activities and business strategy of companies. With over 13,000 signatories in more than 145 countries, it is the largest voluntary initiative of corporate social responsibility in the world.

BDO Castillo Miranda since May 30, 2014 acceded to the United Nations Global Pact, assuming the commitment to work in favor of the implementation of the ten principles, which implies a continuous improvement in performance.

LEED Certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)

The main offices of BDO Castillo Miranda located in Torre Mayor, a building with a gold standard certification in 2013 under the LEED system in buildings in operation and maintenance category by the U.S. GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL.

Torre Mayor, with its LEED certification, demonstrates that it is designed to:

  • Reduce operating costs and increase the value of assets.
  • Reduce waste sent to landfills.
  • Save on energy and water use.
  • To be healthier and safer spaces for its occupants.
  • Reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
