Jesús has over 28 years of experience in global Consulting Firms. He worked 2 years in a global Advisory Firm in New York and has leaded projects in Spain and different countries in Latin America.

He has rendered services to private and family enterprises as well as public, Mexican and international, corporations. Jesus has done extensive work for the following industries: Retail, Energy (Oil and Gas), Agro, Beverage, Manufacturing, Telecom, Health, Construction, Reits, Insurance, Mining, Automotive among others.

He acted as President of Global Compact of the United Nations in Mexico (2016-2018).

Definition and implementation of Risk Management Frameworks, under different methodologies as: ISO31000, ERM, COSO among others. The above considering the company’s strategy and integrating difference topics as efficiency in operations, financial information, regulatory compliance, corporate reputation, environmental and social issues.

  • Corporate Governance:

Evaluation, design and implementation of Corporate Governance Frameworks for public as well private organizations. The Frameworks used, as needed, are: Ley del Mercado de Valores (Mexican Stock Market), Ley General de Sociedades Mercantiles (Private Companies), Ley de Organismos de la Sociedad Civil (NGOs), OCDE (OECD), Código de Principio de Mejores Prácticas (best practices), among others.

  • Internal Audit and specific assessments:

Out/Co-sourcing of the IA function integrating multidisciplinary teams considering operations, technology, compliance, financial information, environmental and social issues.

  • Regulatory and Compliance – Different aspects:

Regular speaker for business audiences, Radio, TV and business schools. He has over 150 publications in newspapers and magazines.

Currently member of the Social Responsibility Committee of the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry as well as Confio Foundation (NGO focused on transparency and disclosure of Civil Society Organizations). He has participated as advisor and Director in other Chambers and Associations as COPARMEX, IMEF, IMCP.  He has also been part of different Committees focused toward Commercial, Safety, Operations and Executive Committees.
