BULLETIN OF THE RELEVANT ASPECTS OF THE DRAFT LAW OF THE FISCAL REFORM FOR 2020

Last September 8, the Executive Branch submitted an economic package to the Federal Congress for 2020. That package includes, among other things, the Federal Revenue Act (LIF-Spanish acronym), the fiscal reforms to the distinct federal tax laws, such as the Federal Tax Code (CFF-Spanish acronym), Federal Excise Tax Act (IEPS-Spanish acronym), Hydrocarbons Revenue Act, and the Federal Law of Rights and the Expenditure Budget. However, the Senate has made various modifications thereto.

Toward that end, following is a summary of the aspects that we consider to be the most significant of those Fiscal Reforms. It is important to note that the LIF was already published in the Federal Official Gazette (DOF-Spanish acronym) on November 25, 2019
