Before joining BDO, he worked at Arthur Andersen as International Trade and Customs Manager; at SAT/AGGC as Director and Deputy Director of Foreign Trade Audit; at Walmart Mexico & Central America (CAM) as Leader of Foreign Trade Compliance, Supply Chain Security, Control, and in Tax, Trade, Legal Compliance; and at Asesores as Partner in Foreign Trade, Supply Chain Security, Control, and OFAC Export Sanctions.

He has expertise in: eCommerce shipping processes, Cross-Border Trade (CBT) – Marketplace, implementation of foreign trade compliance and logistics security programs, customs architecture, OEA, CTPAT, and PIP security certification and auditing, origin analysis and certification, foreign trade and logistics security risk assessment, compliance programs for foreign trade, supply chain security, control and export sanctions “OFAC” (Office of Foreign Assets Control of the United States), and Customs Anti-Corruption.
