EXPERIENCE
Mr. Villalobos has over 18 years of professional experience as independent auditor and consultant for Mexican and foreign companies with multiples subsidiaries.
He has participated in the review of the different reports filed to the National Banking and Securities Commission and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
He is Director of the Assurance Professional Practice Committee of BDO Mexico, focus on developing and continually improving audit processes based on the requirements of audit standards.
He is also member of the Audit Steering Committee of BDO International, which is responsible for establishing minimum standards applicable to the audit and Assurance practices of the BDO network.
Mr. Villalobos was external auditor in Chicago, Illinois from 2008 to 2009.
INDUSTRY SPECIALIZATION
Audits of and preparation of financial statements for public and privately held companies of a wide variety of industries, including oil and gas exploration and production, distribution and manufacturing, technology, laboratories and personnel services with the application of Accounting Principles Generally Accepted in the United States of America, International Financial Reporting Standards and Mexican Financial Reporting Standards.
